When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google OAuth. We use your email domain to assign you to your company's tenant. We do not request or store your Google password.

How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: Your email identifies you and connects you to your team.
• Meme creation: The memes and templates you upload are stored on our servers and visible to members of your tenant.
• Votes & comments: Your interactions are stored and displayed to your teammates.
• AI features: When you use the random meme generator, your template name is sent to OpenAI to generate text. No personal data is included in these requests.

Tenant Isolation

StarMeme is multi-tenant. Your memes, votes, and comments are only visible to users whose email matches the same company domain.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the app to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Data Storage

Your data (account info, memes, templates, votes, comments) is stored securely on our servers.

Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth: Used for authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
